About Fayette Together

Fayette  Together is a 501(c)(3) organization that advocates for equitable access to employment, housing, education, legal systems, and health and  safety. Our goal is to lay the groundwork for a culture of inclusivity,  understanding, and respect. We are guided by principles that prioritize  anti-racism, unbiased listening, action against oppression, and a  commitment to ongoing learning.

Fayette  Together is more than an organization—it's a movement. We emerge as a  beacon of hope and unity within the heart of Fayette, Missouri, guided  by our motto, "Reflections of Yesterday and Today, Shining Lights  Towards Tomorrow." We are deeply committed to fostering an inclusive community  that honors its past, celebrates its present, and eagerly anticipates a  brighter, more equitable future. Our aim is to confront and heal  the wounds of our shared history, to pave the way for systemic change  that embraces every voice and values every individual. 

Our  multifaceted efforts address ongoing racial, socioeconomic, and  ideological divides through initiatives and projects that bring diverse  groups together. For example, we have supported establishing essential  after-school programs like the Boys and Girls Club, partnered with  various community civic organizations, and Central Methodist University  to strengthen the 'town and gown' relationship. These partnerships are  an opportunity for mutual growth and a critical step toward bridging  gaps within our community, making Fayette a place where everyone,  regardless of background, can thrive.
